Casa 54

Welcome to the Los Angeles home called Casa 54. This project required furnishing of the entire 4 bedroom home, as well as landscaping and exterior space planning.

The primary bedroom and its attached bathroom are a cozy oasis in hot LA. I implemented a textured tribal wallpaper from Schumacher in the bedroom to help soften the space. Then an Indian Mural wallpaper from Schumacher was implemented in the bathroom above the clawfoot tub. The mural is called Rajput Fantasy from Schumacher and was used to immerse the bather into the scene which contains women bathing in a pond, wild animals, and trees dispersed throughout.

I implemented unique wallpapers in each of the rooms of this house. A tribal pinstripe wallpaper in the living room works well with the other worldly artifacts I incorporated into the minor decor. I also implemented a secretary desk from Pottery Barn that can completely hide the client's computer monitor when guests visit. When not in use, the desk just looks like a large travel trunk. This was implemented due to the client's need to work from home at the same time as their partner, who would oftentimes be using the main family office to work.
